Třinácté místo obsadil Jan Macek v semifinále Mistrovství Evropy juniorů do 21 let. Honza vybojoval celkem čtyři body, což však nestačilo na postup mezi elitní evropskou šestnáctku. Vítězem závodu se stal Jan Kvěch. Do finále však postoupila ještě další dvojice Čechů a to Petr Chlupáč a Daniel Klíma.
